He initially advised that it would take about a week to receive the new board at which time he would return to install it. I followed up when I did not hear from him in a week, and he advised that the part is on back order. He did not provide a date of when the company advised that he could likely expect to receive the part. I called back a couple of weeks later to get an update of an expected date for the board, so that I could stay on top of making sure I didn't fall through the cracks. He advised that he would check and call me back. He never called me back. I gave it a few more weeks and called again, and then determined that he no longer wanted to do the job. It would seem that he was only interested in collecting the fee for inspecting and diagnosing the problem. Instead of conveying that and allowing me to obtain a different service provider, he elected to allow me to be cold in the middle of winter while waiting for a response from him. I was hoping I would not have to contact him within my 10 yr warranty, but I recently had an issue paid his fee for coming out, but my unit still wasn't functioning properly. I told him in 2020 that instead of leaving a bad review I was pulling his coat tail to make him aware of the things he did wrong and correct them to be more professional as a black business.1. Leaving cigarette butts on my property 'I'll send someone to pick them up' 2. Turning off my hot water heater and not turning it back on 'I can come later to turn it back on or can just turn the knob" 3. Unplugged and moved my washer machine and not putting it back 'I may have bumped it' 4. Was going to use a crow bar to bust up my white tile for some unknown reason. Luckily, my yard guy was there and took the door off the hinges for him. 5. Did not put door back 'I didn't take it off' 6. Started mid day and was at my home till almost 11pm, so I had to stay up as well. 7. Replaced my thermostat wall unit with a low end $15 device from Home Depot just to name some of the issues I had...currently not responsive in a timely manner.
